| The ignition interlock program requires that a device be installed on the vehicles of persons convicted of DUI upon eligibility of reinstatement for a permanent or restricted driver license. The device is also required if an individual applies for a restricted license for work after a DUI conviction. Persons falling under this program will be issued a "P" restriction on their license indicating that an ignition interlock is required. |
